Park Dene Room Only - Whitby

Ask for extra teabags upon arrival. You'll find a cute bag waiting on your door handle later.

It was a beautifully decorated hotel, nothing too much trouble, would recommend. Everything was excellent and rooms were cheap and airy. The train station was within 15 minutes' walk away. The service was excellent during my stay.

The room is gorgeous and fantastic, it comes with a friendly atmosphere and coffees.

No fridge in the room!!! Noise disruptions from other guests!!! Limited dining options nearby!!! Sloped ceilings in certain rooms could be a hazard for taller guests!!! Lack of on-site meals beyond breakfast is quite inconvenient!!!

A Warm hospitality, super clean cleanliness, cozy room

Room was small and cozy, but the shower was a tight squeeze.

We just spent 3 nights in the Lydia room, proper cozy little spot! Mags and Paul were lovely, always there for a chinwag. The place was spotless, and the comfy bed had us snoozin' like babies. Just a bit of a squeeze in the shower, mind you!

We just spent 2 wonderful nights in the attic room, which was super cute and came with yummy complimentary biscuits. The breakfast spread was a highlight, especially the smoked salmon scrambled eggs! Just note that the slanted ceilings might be tricky for taller folks, but we loved it and would return.

Stayed at park dene for 3 nights and loved the location, just a five-minute walk from the beach and ten minutes to the town centre. The room wasvery comfy and tidy, and the hosts were lovely, letting us come and go as we pleased.

The location is perfect, only a minute's walk to the beach and provides easy access to the charming seaside. The bed was impressively comfortable, contributing to restful nights, but the shower in my room was too small, which could be a concern for larger individuals. A lack of on-site dining options meant relying on nearby cafés, but I enjoyed a delicious traditional fish meal at a local spot. Despite these drawbacks, the cleanliness and decor of the space were commendable, fostering a pleasant atmosphere throughout my stay.

A good stay in Whitby

We were welcomed with homemade cake and tea, a lovely gesture that set the tone for our stay. The bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed the super clean room with quality towels and decor.

Although the location is fantastic, be prepared for an uphill walk back from the harbour, especially after indulging in Whitby's famous fish and chips.

Charming Stay with Personal Touches

The hosts, Mags and Paul, were really good by providing a lovely upgrade after one night, everything was spotlessly clean. I appreciated the thoughtful gesture of a homemade chocolate cake waiting for us in the common area. A minor downside was the lack of dining options on-site, but the proximity to the charming town made it easy to explore local eateries.

Cozy room, lovely hosts, the hosts provided off-site parking permits for easy access to nearby attractions like the beach, making our stay very convenient.

Everything was great.

The room was spacious and equipped with tea and coffee facilities, complemented by a thoughtful touch of biscuits. The location was really good, just a short walk from the town centre. Breakfast offered a variety of choices, and the host was accommodating and cute throughout my visit.

The only downside was the brief nature of my stay.
